What are the Promises?

The Bible is full of God's promises to us. When we intentionally investigate these promises, in both the context of the surrounding verses and the Bible in its entirety, God's love for us is revealed in radiant clarity, and the plans for His people are clearly demonstrated.

By bringing awareness to all of God's promises, we awaken to the full knowledge and understanding of what it truly means to be a believer in Christ: a receiver and participant in God's Greatest Promise - Salvation.

How to use this study:

Promise Bible Study is broken down into chunks of scripture that are to be read and meditated upon weekly. It is divided in such a way that the entire Bible can be examined within a year's time (52 weeks). By reading through the whole Bible sequentially, we get a sense of how the promises are connected to each other. This leads to a greater awareness of God working throughout time and place, and how His work directly connects to the lives of all believers - past, present and future. It also reveals how God's promises are fulfilled over time, and how each promise underlines - and moves us toward - the significance of Christ being the ultimate fulfillment.
